❤️WHY WE LOVE THIS RECIPE
We love how easy this recipe is; you use store-bought croissants, which really makes this so simple. You can throw this together in no time, and it’s perfect for brunch too. The flavor is really great and we found that it actually reheated really well. I thought the bread would be soggy, but honestly, it’s kind of similar to a bread pudding.
SWAPS
We haven’t tried, but I think you could easily switch out the marmalade in this recipe. You could try another type, and jam would work, too. I think this is a great base recipe to use and would be versatile. I have never tried this with low-fat cream cheese or low-fat milk, but it may still work just fine.
CAN I USE OTHER BREADS?
Yes, French bread would work fine but it may not soak up the creamy mixture as well. The croissants work really well, and personally, we like the ones that say “butter” croissants! This is a very creamy buttery recipe. It’s delicious.
⭐TIP
We like so sprinkle powdered sugar over it before we serve it but it’s not necessary. If you wanted to add a level of sweetness you could easily do a simple powdered sugar glaze.
